Two day SILENT RETREAT at Manyika house in Thika.
Do you feel like experiencing some peace and quiet and get the time and space to go within? Than join the Silent meditation and yoga retreat from 8 – 9 November in a beautiful green setting in Thika and give yourself a chance to recharge.
The yoga and meditation sessions are mindfulness based and guided by the founder of mindfulness Jon Kabat Zinn (on CD, not in person!).
Friday 8 November
Arrival around 6 pm, dinner and introduction to the weekend. The silence will start around 9 pm
Saturday 9 November
6.45 – 8.15 First meditation and yoga sessions
9.00 – 11.30 time to relax, work with contemplation material or get a shoulder/neck massage
11.30 – 12.45 Second meditation and yoga sessions
13.00 vegetarian lunch
13.30 – 16.30 More time for relaxation, reflection and contemplation
16.30 – 18.30 Last meditation and yoga session of the day.
18.45 Light vegetarian dinner

9.00 – 11.30 Relaxing time

Cost of this retreat is 15,000 Shilling. This includes two nights (shared rooms), two times breakfast, lunch and dinner and all meditation and yoga sessions. We can share cars to and from Thika or rent a minibus (not included in the price). Maximum amount of participants is 10. Registration and payment before 20 November, mail to email@example.com.
